Mission Statement     
In partnership with our community, we will foster safe, positive and rigorous learning experiences.

Vision Statement    
Every student will graduate with a broad academic foundation which enables each to demonstrate the skills of critical
thinking, problem solving, team work and independent judgment. All students will understand democratic principles and recognize their civic responsibilities, and will be capable of ambitiously and appropriately participating in an age  of dynamic technological change within a global context.

GREAT TEACHERS and LEADERS ACT (S.B. 10-191)
The District is required by section 22-9-106(1) C.R.S. to provide the Evaluation System being used by the schools.

Board of Education
The Board of Education of the Mancos School District RE-6
consists of five members elected for a period of four years. 
All members are elected at large within the school district.
Regular Board of Education meetings are held on the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in Room 503 of the West Wing. Meetings are open to the public.  A work session is generally held for one hour preceding the Regular Meeting.
